She was born @ 7:40 this morning weighing in @ 7lbs 6oz and 19 in. Mommy and baby did wonderfully! I'm uber tired cause I had to get up at 6:00 to be there by 7:30... which I wasn't cause I went to the wrong hospital building then I got lost in the hospital! But anyway I did make it in time to see her world debut! It's so easy to forget how small babies are when they are born... she's precious and I couldn't love her more! Enjoy the pics!
I' m in the car on the way back to Tx... We just went to my 5 year old second couisn's b-day party! It was at their house in Shreveport! Good time was had by all!! I'm just bored and thought I'd see if I could post from my phone! So this won't be a long one!!! Sorry I' be been MIA again... Honestly I haven't been on the computer too much lately. In our house my comp is in my scrap room at the back of the house so I miss out on the action if i'm back there!!!
Coming up Gabriel will be staying with us all of July! Ken has cheer camp starting tomorrow! Yep u read that right she made 8th grade cheerleader!
What we've done since I last posted... Daniel had his b-day this past Wednesday! Ken had her 13th b-day a few weeks back! Actually the week of her dance recital. We got a new car on my b-day for Daniel... Can't rember if I said that or not last time! Sophie got a broken foot thanks to her daddy! He stepped on it so she had to wear a cast for 3 weeks :( ... really sucked cause it couldn't get wet so we had to wrap it in a plastic bag every morning!!! Major found a new home :(:(:(:( Daniel just couldn't handle him peeing all over our new house. I had dinner with Angel last night.... I miss her! Wish we would have made more time while she was here to hang :( shes moving to Kansas in a few :(:(:( but i had a fab time catching up with her!!! And that's about all I can think of!!! Happy Saturday everyone!!
SO sorry I’m been MIA from my blog! Unfortunately it’s that time of year so I regret to inform it will continue for some time. The thing that’s been keeping me occupied this week is I’m photographed my first wedding this weekend… YIKES!!! Can’t tell you how beyond scared I was! Everyone keeps saying… oh you’ll do fine yada yada yada. And that’s nice that everyone believes in me but everyone doesn’t know what all goes into this and all the unknown factors that can cause this to go TERRIBLE! So needless to say I was a big stress ball! I’m so glad it was over but know the editing begins… I took around 1500 pics so I’m gonna be UBER busy!! I’ll be posting some teaser’s for the Bride and mother of the bride! And for you all to so you can enjoy!
In other news I have TONZ of pictures that need posting from the last few weekends! Sorry… I might get to that at some point. Since I last posted we’ve been to Oklahoma City for Kennedy’s big Dance Comp for the year. Mom and Don also joined us… good time was had by all! Ken got all Gold’s for her Dance’s.
3 weekend’s ago we went to Tyler for Lindsey’s B-day party… to everyone’s surprised she announced she was prego’s. She put it on the cake so no one caught on for a sec! So I get to be an Auntie twice this year!!!!! Jess and Matt are due July 16th and Lins is due Dec 9th!
Two weekend’s we went back to Tyler again for Mother’s Day and the Race for the Cure. Busy weekend but it was a good time by all! For the Race we have to get up at the gosh awful hour of 6:00 am b/c they have a survivor breakfast at 7:00 am and Nanny HAD to be there at 7:00 on the dot!! Good time for me! So then Don, Mom, Nanny, Daniel and I went to have lunch at Stanley’s BBQ. Place has been in Tyler forever but a friend from High school now owns it! It’s some excellent BBQ, always has been, it’s been written up in several large magazines!! Then we went and caught a nap before getting ready to go to Lins’s B-day dinner at Roadhouse! Sunday Matt and Jess came out to Mom’s so I got to hang with my girl Elle! Love that kid! And not that I’m biased but I think she’s the cutest thing ever!
Then of course last weekend was the wedding! Also in the last two weeks we’ve had tonz of car trouble with Daniel’s piece so we are pretty close to making a deal on a new car for him.
Today’s my B-day in case you don’t know! I’ve have a fun day at work! Dad sent me flowers on Wednesday to enjoy the last half of the week! Today all my work peeps decorated my cube! They took me to lunch, and Erika and Suzanne got me a Best Buy gift card so I could get myself Guitar Hero and give Erika hers back!!! So pumped about that! Then we’re heading to Tyler tonight for our last weekend in our 4 weekend Tyler run! I’m co-hosting a baby shower for Matt and Jess and Gwen tomorrow with a bunch of our high school friends so that should be fun! Then Sunday morning mom’s making me birthday breakfast! Then Sunday afternoon we are heading to the lake to celebrate with my Dad and family!!! Another busy but fun weekend! I know I owe my adoring public tonz of pictures!!1 one day I promise! That's right folks yet another dance post! Last weekend Kennedy took First place over all for her Tap duet! It was VERY exciting and I was so happy to have been there to be apart of that memory! Here are the pics below... not great of the actual trophy getting but what do you do!

This is the 2nd awards for the group #'s... the girls got 4th place overall for one # and 2nd place overall for another... this is the best they've done all year so it was so fun to be there and take part in the memories! :):):)

For those who may not know Rochelle was my BFF from like 5 million years ago!(which means she has dirt on me... much like below!) SOOOOOOO I have a HUGE pet peeve here at work... let me give u some background history. In our old building we had smaller space on our floor but the bathroom had more stalls in it. But Still the inevitable happened once in a while, you'd be in the bathroom and some rude inconsiderate woman would come in the otherwise empty bathroom and for some stupid reason unknown to me choose the stall RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I was rare but it would happen on some occasions and it would disturb me to no end. So fast forward to our new building where we have more sq. ft. on our floor and less stalls in the bathroom. You can see what's coming next... yes it happens WAY to often that someone sits next to me in the bathrooms here. I'm seriously considering by bathroom tactics from High school... back in my high school days I REFUSED to use the bathrooms in the halls so I built up a tolerance to hold it until I got to the Drill Team room. These weren't MUCH better but at least I knew most how had use these!
Ok off my soap box now! I know your thinking it's been two weeks and you start in with this story??? sorry obviously this just happen to me which is why I'm all irritated by it!
So in other news our life has been BUSY with the capitol B. Dance, house stuff, Dance, dance, dance! I did manage to surprise Daniel last week with scavenger hunt around our house where at the final clue this prize was waiting for him.
He was totally suprised! I was giddy with excitement all day at work cause I knew he'd be happy!

And here are the pics I managed to secretly snap at the dance com sat... it was secret b/c at these comp's they have their own photographers but they print the pics right there with no touch ups and they're just NOT good pics 99% of the time. This one being NO exception.. they were TERRIBLE! But on one break after I had taken these Miss. Megan (ken's teacher) and I were chatting and she informed me one of the grandparents had a video camera last time and that the comp staff came up to them and said they would disqualify all the girls if they saw that again. So I stopped taking pictures! But I managed to get some descent shoots with my little point and shoot camera! Enjoy!

and to end on a FUNNY note! I sent an e-mail to Elizabeth(the ex) today with some of these pictures attached... in the e-mail I meant to say I'd send a disk with all the pics with Daniel next weekend when he met her to pick up Gab. Well my fat fingers typed the following instead "I'll give a dick to Daniel on Friday to give to you." So she e-mails me back to say she's laughing to hard to look at the pics, I'm all confused so I go back and reread to see what's so funny... ummmm yea! So I of course forward it to Daniel and call him and he's laughing hysterically on the phone and can only manage to get out good job! She then e-mails me to tell me she's showed EVERYONE in her office! Great huh? Another classic Melissa moment! :)
